#The charity bazaar event was successfully completed.

Yesterday marked the first time that Tzu Chi Sister Liang Hsin-ling held a public charity sale in Cambridge. We are grateful to Professor Tsai Tung-hu for his generous donation of calligraphy works, and to all the bodhisattvas who joined in the event.

Sister Hsin-ling is truly kind-hearted, which moved me to give my full support. Perhaps because I grew up in a poor family, I can really understand the feelings of impoverished children. Being able to do my part for disadvantaged families and students has been my long-held wish.

Although studying is not my forte, I have a skill. Ten years ago, I was determined to practice my baking skills diligently, hoping to support charity fundraising. I hope everyone will like it, to unite the power of good through food, and to bake with love and make happiness by hand.

It is my honor to support Sister Hsin-Ling as she dedicates herself to Tzu Chi's great love in Cambridge. I look forward to seeing everyone participate in the next charity event.

I specifically bought this calligraphy piece at the charity auction. The inscription, "Holding green rice seedlings, I plant them all in the field; bowing my head, I see the sky reflected in the water," serves as a reminder to always maintain the purity of my true nature. This is the Way, this is spiritual practice. The phrase "Taking a step back is actually moving forward" is rich in philosophical meaning.

The Bodhisattva path is my lifelong, unwavering journey. 🙏 Once the studio is completed, it will also provide a venue for charity events, upholding the ideal of "being a neighbor to the community" in the beautiful book-loving city of Cambridge. I hope to support my cause through this business, ensuring its sustainable operation and uniting more people to do charity together. 🙏

It is not only a friendly space for Chinese immigrants, but also a place where all visitors can feel at home, where they can gather together and keep each other warm during holidays.

In the future, it will not only be the home of Chinese people, but also our home; it will no longer be a foreign land, but our hometown.
