Thank you to the Taiwan Tourism Bureau for inviting Kang Chiao Bakery to create a recipe documentary on making mini pineapple cakes using local British ingredients. We are a workshop in the UK that makes Taiwanese pastries and would like to share with everyone how to make pineapple cakes, a famous Taiwanese souvenir.
I had many feelings while making this film. Since I started my business in 2012 , it was my eldest son, Youkang, who loves to eat fresh pineapple cakes from Taiwan that motivated me to research and develop this technology. Over the past nine years, no matter what difficulties I have encountered, he has always been a caring person who encourages me. This time, he even learned how to make a film for me, going from knowing nothing to breaking through his own limitations. He said that he was willing to do this because he loves me, which warmed my heart! This power of love has touched me deeply.
Although the entrepreneurial process was not easy, the cultural mission of introducing Taiwanese pastries to the UK was fulfilling .
It's becoming more and more fun for me, and I hope everyone can help share it so that more British people know about Taiwan, a place with "beautiful mountains and rivers, warm people, and delicious food 😋 ".
I also won myself a Mid-Autumn Festival gift box made by Kangqiao Bakery 🎁

I treat baking as an art form—if I'm going to do it, I'll do it well. ❤️
I hope that through my meager efforts,
May traditional pastries warm the hearts of those far from home.
It can also be enjoyed exquisitely by foreigners.
It flourished in the UK!
Using food to communicate culture.
We hope to integrate Chinese and Western food cultures, innovate and rejuvenate Hanbing, and give Hanbing a new direction for the future.
Let British afternoon tea have a Taiwanese flavor!
