#MyDream
Everyone has someone who has a profound influence on them in their life. My high school teacher, Ms. Weng Yinghui, had a great influence on me during my adolescence. She was my idol when I was young. This time when I returned to Taiwan, I made a special trip to Chiayi to visit her.
I take my teacher's words very seriously. I hope to draw on his wisdom to find a goal to strive for in this age of fifty-six, and work on it earnestly, regardless of the outcome.
I'm considering transforming Kang Chiao Bakery into a social enterprise, a multi-functional bakery, so that people with learning disabilities and autism can find confidence through work, create employment opportunities for disadvantaged groups and help them become self-reliant, and thereby establish a new culture of care.
I'm not sure if I can truly achieve my dreams. My children are already grown up, and I don't have much financial pressure. How can I be a good role model for them? I'm thinking about this carefully.
I lack confidence 😔 I don't know how difficult it will be? I worry that I can't do it, but I will try my best to overcome all difficulties and realize my dream.
I have persevered all the way to where I am today, hoping that even with my limited abilities, I can do my best to do good for society, just like my parents. It's about benefiting both oneself and others. Kindness is a choice, and so is a beautiful lifestyle.
